For isolated damage on a structurally sound roof, targeted repair is the right call. We'll always give you a straight assessment before recommending either option.
What roofing materials do you use?
We work with natural slate, concrete and clay roof tiles, fibre cement slates, GRP fibreglass for flat roofs, EPDM rubber membranes, torch-on felt systems, and lead for flashings, valleys, and chimney work. We'll recommend the most appropriate material based on your property type, budget, and planning requirements.
Do you handle insurance claims for storm damage?
Yes — we can provide detailed written estimates and photographic reports in the format required by most home insurance companies. We work alongside insurers and loss assessors and can advise on what evidence is typically needed to support a successful claim. We do not charge separately for insurance estimates.
How long does a full roof replacement take?
Most full roof replacements on standard semi-detached or detached houses are completed in 2–4 days depending on the size of the roof and the material chosen. We include scaffolding erection and removal in that timeframe. Weather can affect outdoor work but we plan around the forecast and keep you informed of any delays.
Do you provide written guarantees?
Yes — all our completed roofing works come with a written workmanship guarantee. Natural slate and quality tile installations carry manufacturer material warranties of up to 50 years. GRP flat roofs carry a 20-year material guarantee. All guarantees are issued in writing and transferable to a new owner if the property is sold.
Can you inspect my roof without me being home?
Yes — for external roof inspections we can assess the condition from ground level and by ladder without needing access to the interior of your home. We'll send you a written report with photos and a clear recommendation. If we need internal access to check for felt, insulation, or leak damage, we'll arrange a time that suits you.
